Re: Normal puppy, or aggressive puppy?! I have an altered female Chihuahua that humps my male Boxer's head. No kidding. He just sits there and looks at me. Even if I could capture it on video it would be rated `mature`, lol. Not fit for a family forum. Dogs are weird sometimes.
When my 4 month old Lab pup gets too crazy (usually when she hasn't had a proper late afternoon nap), I simply pick her up, put her in her crate and say "settle down" calmly, close the door and leave. She typically lies down, usually takes a short nap of 10 minutes and then I let her out happy as a clam. She will then often continue calmly resting or napping. I think Lab pups are a lot like toddlers. They need a quiet time-out that parents impose because their brains are on rapid fire at times and they can't calm themselves down once they are wound up.
