I have a 12 month old, intact boy who I have been feeding Acana large breed puppy. He had been doing really well on this but has recently been having a bit of an upset stomach so I'm going to try swapping him to Carnilove large breed puppy.

My query is: I have been feeding 400g of Acana and that equals about 1350 calories.

The feeding suggestion for the Carnilove is 250g but that's only 950 calories.

My concern is that I dont really want him to lose any weight. He is only 22kg and quite ribby. I think he is probably on the skinny side of being 'just right'.

So should I feed him the suggested and take it from there? (It is higher in protein and fat) or should I feed him the enough to be on the same amount of calories?

Sorry for the long (and probably boring) post but I'd really appreciate anyone's advice!

    Thank you so much
