Grooming: When To Clip 6 Month Old Puppy's Nails

we have a 6 months old lab puppy.

when should we first get his nail clipped - any insights welcome

 

Hi Paulo, Welcome to the forum! It's fine to just clip your dog's nails when they need it. When that will be depends upon the surfaces they walk on regularly and how fast their nails grow. A good sign that it's time to clip them is if you can hear them clacking when they walk on a hard surface
