Hi we got a lab pup on Tuesday and he's not really interested in his food, had labs before but never experienced an unhungry lab
Does he seem healthy otherwise? I mean is he drinking, weeing and pooing and scampering around creating mischief? If he's ok healthwise then perhaps he's just needing time to settle in. Will he take his food from your hand?
Hi Alix, welcome to the forum! Congratulation on your new puppy. Great questions from Joy - some puppies won't eat much while they are still feeling stressed from moving home. But if there are any signs that your pup is unwell, or if his appetite doesn't improve, run your little one down to the vet for a check up. Let us know how you get on.
Hi Alix we also got our new puppy on Tues and he is up and down with his food, some days he wolfs it down and some days he is not so keen. He seems absolutely fine in himself, running around playing and causing havoc!! (happy havoc!!). The breeder did say he wasn't a particularly greedy pup so I'm putting it down to that and settling in to a new home.
