Re: Poppy's Op and me!!! Poppy has eaten this morning, been out for a walk but only had a wee, I gave her a pain killer has instructed by the vet and she hasn't moved from her crate since, I am assuming this is normal??? I was expecting her to be a little livelier..and she's not really into treats today I guess I will just have to keep an eye on her.
Re: Poppy's Op and me!!! I think aneasthetic affects some dogs more than others Lois , if she has had a wee and eaten , I wouldnt worry too much if she just wants to rest , its the best way to recover really . You do right to keep an eye on her but its probably the pain killer that has made her feel sleepy x
Re: Poppy's Op and me!!! Pats from us too I'm sure she'll be fine in a day or so Obi gets quite woozy from anaesthetics and painkillers too.
Re: Poppy's Op and me!!! Thanks for good wishes Poppy is much more lively today, ran out of her crate to greet us both this morning it was lovely!!! Just be fun trying to keep her reasonably quiet when she comes to work with me tomorrow so much going on we will see...Happy Sunday all x
Re: Poppy's Op and me!!! That's great. I'm sure she will love coming and nosying around with you at work. Maybe I should say "work" loosely in these circumstances.
