My family recently adopted a 3 month lab for our 15 and 21 year old. I have to admit we didn't do a lot of research, our kids feel in love and we promised them a dog since they were 5. So, I'm trying to make sure we do so now, and I have to admit, I'm a little nervous. At 3 months what she would be expecting, and doing with the dog. We have never owned a dog before. She seems pretty calm now, no biting, friendly and loving. I have noticed she jumps up a lot on us, but isn't aggressive. I guess I'm not sure where to start. We've had her for only 2 days. When will she starting biting? Will my house always smell like a dog? When/how should we train her? Any help for the 3-6 month period would be awesome! What I should be doing and what we should be expecting? Thanks!
