Brogan's foster mom had named him Stephan. I always go for Celtic names - my first dog's name was Duncan so I thought the next should be Irish. Brogan is an Irish surname I just liked the sound of. Lucky for him, since his 'interim name' for a whole month was Piglet because of his tiny ears. :p

My current foster dog, Carbon, was named by the shelter. I pretty much hated it at first (how original, naming a black dog "Coal") but now I can't imagine him with another name and call him "Carboncito" most of the time. I imagine his eventual adopters will change it, but for now he's staying Señor Carboncito!

Tora kennel name is Deniz but we didn`t like it.
In 2018 in Croatia was Euro Handball Championship and mascot was dog "Tor" ( it is short from Tornjak which is name for breed Canis montanus) so she got name Tora.
Later on we found out that in japanese Tora meaning tiger, but she is far far away from tiger :)

Kinda off topic but we recently had an incoming dog to the boarding kennel I work at named Mace. First off, who would name a dog Mace but I digress...of course I’m expecting a pittie (which I’ve found are terribly misunderstood and often are fantastic dogs) but nope, it was a sweetie young mutt without the slightest meanness or look. Go figure!

Maybe they really liked the spice? :p

There's a really tough looking, muscular Staffie called Basil here. He is a big sweetie and loves my puppy. I think Basil is a really cute name for him.

Balu name was chosen beause I love Disney movies and I want a goofy and happy dog, like the bear Balu. The breeder ket me chose the name, so his name is Balu F. da Quinta d'Var ("F" is the litter letter). Balu's father is Mr. President C da Quinta d'Var and his mother name his Kiara.
