Is my puppy an American or English lab?

We just got our little Simba two weeks ago. He is 9 weeks old at the moment, weighing around 15 pounds. Here are some pictures.

The person that sold him to us said that he was English, but as he is leaner-looking, we are starting to wonder whether he is actually from show lines or if he is from working lines. What do you guys think?

He is well cute, whatever type he is. Are there any titles (red entries) in the pedigree? FTCH is a working title SHCH is a show title

 

Unfortunately no, no titles in his pedigree... and thank you haha, he is an adorable little man

 

I can't tell what he is, but the picture under the tele made me laugh. Jax can't even get his head in some of the places he used to sleep now, always makes me smile.

 

He's super cute either way!
