    Hi everyone,

Yalom is now 12 weeks old and is doing pretty well overall. We're trying really hard to discourage biting and jumping up but from 7.30 when he comes out of his crate until 8.30 when he is fed he is incredibly hyper. I've tried doing training, playing, ignoring but he is bitey and jumpy until he's fed. I never feed him until he's calm to try and not reinforce the behaviour. I don't want to put him in his crate again so soon after he's come out. Any ideas on how to work with this?

    Thankyou!

Would it be possible to take him for a walk? Then bring him home for his breakfast.

I suspect he is genuinely hungry and I would give him his breakfast or at least part of it rather than making him wait.
