I think we should try a harness on Susie - currently 3 1/2 months and weighing 32 lbs. A search on Amazon finds a few but can't see anything suitable for a dog this size with scope for growth. I know I may need a larger one in due course (though hope by then she will be as good as gold and walk nicely to heel!) and just need a collar.
Any suggestions please re make, etc. (UK sources).

Perfect fit here. Does exactly what it says on the tin! :)

Huh - I really disliked the perfect fit harnesses. I found the straps very thin, the fleece didn't stay up the straps properly, and the amount of buckles was just something else - I really didn't want that many hard plastic bits on a harness.

I bought my two perfect fits and gave them to a dog charity. I found them far too fussy and bothersome.

The same company makes a fleece harness where the fleece is securely fastened to all the straps, without all the endless separate bits (and buckles and more buckles...which are not covered in fleece) which I've found easy to fit, and a great deal easier to use.
