Does anyone else's pup leap into an armchair just as you're about to sit in it - and then refuse to budge with a mischievous look on his face? Wilson does this to my husband and it's hilarious. He (husband) will walk into the living room holding his cup of tea, stop at an armchair and lean down to put his tea on a side table and in that second Wilson sidles up into the armchair and lies down. He then becomes an immovable rock - all the while with this really innocent (and so funny) look on his face. (I know dogs on sofas and armchairs is a point for debate and we're still trying to decide whether we really should be keeping him at floor level!). Wilson will be a year old on Tuesday - where on earth has the time gone!
Our Airedale Terrier used to do this. He would watch for the opportunity to steal dads seat . So funny..
Our 5 month old Lab does this too with my seat!. As far as the sofa debate goes we took her in as part of the family so the sofa is fair game for all the family.
Our pup is often snuggled between us on the sofa, but the minute someone gets up he sprawls all over their nice warm spot and looks terribly offended when they come back and he has to move.
