Hi everyone. Just wanted to let you all know that we brought Yalom home yesterday evening. He's tired and a bit bony but very happy to be home! Thankyou for all your good wishes, they obviously worked.

River and I are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Did the vet ever determine what the cause was?

That’s excellent news. I hope he picks up again quickly and is soon back to normal. What was the diagnosis?

Thanks everyone. He is definitely progressing back to normal, although a little more cautious than he was before. In the end they felt it was neurotoxicity to an unknown toxin. We think it may have been a mushroom that he snaffled without me seeing when we had a short walk in the woods by the river. Keeping a much keener eye on him now!

So glad it all worked out okay. Almost every adult lab owner I've met while walking Chewie has commented on all all the vet trips they've made for eating things they shouldn't!
