Does anybody have any experience of seizures of taking Bravecto?

My in laws dog has started having episodes of weakness on one side and collapse that lasts around 30 seconds when he gets excited. This happened within 72 hours of taking his second dose of Bravecto.

We have found lots of information online about Bravecto causing seizures, but not a lot of information about whether they pass as the drug gets out of the system or whether it is a permanent thing?

Sorry no experience here but I really hope the dog is ok.

Have your in laws reported this to their vet?

It could be EIC ( exercise induced collapse). May be coincidence regarding bravecto.
I don't know if this video works, this is NOT my dog or video but it shows what EIC looks like.

If it is EIC, it's a simple blood test as this is genetic. Although my now 4 year old has what we believed to be EIC, after getting tested, we found he's all clear. I took him to a specialist and had more tests but came back clear.

No medication is needed as it's a manageable condition. We have to be extremely careful with how much exciting exersise he gets. Walking for miles is great but chasing a ball has to be strictly controlled.

Thank you everyone for your concern.

He has had blood tests which were all clear. Next stop an MRI which is this week. If this is clear they will put it down to epilepsy. However after reading online about other people's experiences of Bravecto and how quickly it came on after him having it, it seems like more than a coincidence!
