Our black lab who just turned a year old is notorious for having diarrhea after he swims. Doesn’t matter if it’s in a lake, ocean, pool it happens. We’ve put him on medicine from the vet, changed his food, tested his stool. After he’s on the antibiotics it’s better. Then he swims and we are right back to square one. His favorite thing to do is swim. We are desperate for an answer. Thank you!
Is he swallowing water whilst swimming? Often this can happen quite subtly in a way you don't even notice. If he is taking in a lot of water, it could easily result in digestive upsets...
