Sadie puppy is just 15 weeks old and hasn’t lost any teeth yet. I heard about yak chews and got one for her today. She loves it of course, but as she chewed with her premolars I was spotting blood on the chew. I know blood during teething is normal, but I thought her incisors were supposed to go first. The chew is just an occasional thing being kind of expensive. So after a bit I took it away and gave her a knotted rope toy. She chewed pretty hard in the same area of her mouth and again there was some blood on the toy. I can’t see anything unusual when I raise her lip and look, but does it sound like normal teething even though it’s a premolar?
