?

Would it be best to let her go to a home where she would get the time & attention she deserves?

We used to have a big back yard & our 3/4 Lab 1/4 German Shepherd mix was very happy there. We had to move to a house with a small back yard - it was the only one we could get in to - and now our 2 1/2 YO dog is depressed. We've all become extremely busy & don't have enough time to exercise her. My boy started kindergarten, girl started 6th grade & now has massive amounts of homework, husband working overtime & side jobs, & I take care of everything at home in addition to working at home. We've gotten to a point where we can't handle her anymore. I have someone who would like to have her. He has an acre right now, but is looking for a place with more land. He would train her to be a trailing dog & keep her very busy. My vet tech cousin is the one who recommended him, and she knows him very well, so I'd be comfortable with her going to live with him. I just have a hard time letting her go & I feel like I'm taking her away from the family, but I feel like it would the the most loving thing we could do for her. She's not getting the time & attention she needs from us. Can I get some opinions?
