Hi everyone, Remy is 14 weeks and I’ve started having trouble with him wanting to chew on his bowls. Problem is he spills his water so when I go out he has no water as he will have emptied it to chew it. Any tips or items I can buy to help?
I have that same issue! I have two puppies, they are 4 months old. My girl, Sadie like to bark at the water bowl and then dump it over with her paw. I have tried the water feeders, which she can't tip over, but with that, she just puts both paws int he water and sorta digs/splashes it all out on the floor!!
I don't like the heavy ceramic bowls as it's easy to drop them when filling or they're damp. I have one like this https://www.houseofpaws.co.uk/collections/dog-bowls/products/country-kitchen-cream-dog-bowl-medium Which is too heavy to tip, has rubber at the bottom to stop movement and a removable stainless steel bowl for the water which is very handy for travelling and holidays. My cat prefers to drink from this bowl as well rather than her own
My dog used to do the same, but it stopped when we bought bigger stainless steel bowl with stand. Something like this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1PC...on-Slip-Feeding-Station-W215/32830157850.html
Our puppy used to constanly spell her water as well we use the large one of these now, and she has not messed with it. https://www.chewy.com/ourpets-comfo...tMoIemj1bu58K5_ZSSTFrYbjHZJBu8YhoCrsEQAvD_BwE
