Hi everyone. I have a 2 yr old American male Lab, He’s healthy, and has a good apitite. My concern is that when i leave him at daycare he will run constantly. Often i will pick him up at the end of the day he will pant for15-20 min before calming down. He eats in the morning but rarely will stop during the day for lunch.
    Thanks
    John

Does he seem stiff after daycare (after he rests and then gets up)? That's generally how I gauge whether George has overdone himself.

I'd say if he's not stiff he's probably doing ok - but you could check with your vet if you're concerned about his joints long term.

Hi @John Smith I would think about finding another day care. It is not good for the dog's health to be over-aroused to the point that a Lab will not eat his meal.

Absolutely agree with @Michael A Brooks, he sounds way overstimulated during the day and this is not good for him.

Could you consider a dog walker or sitter for an hour or so to break up the day instead?
