Today we found out that the assistance dog charity we want to work with to train Yalom to be a disability assistance dog has found a trainer in our area willing to consider him! We are really happy as this is much earlier than we expected. So long as he passes his initial assessment (temperament, energy, how he is with people and dogs) he will officially start his long training journey. I'm excited to (hopefully) share it here.

Oooh exciting! Do let us know how you get on. Do you have a take for his initial temperament assessment? :)

It was today, and he passed! Now he's officially in training. We'll be using clicker training, which is all new to us. Very exciting!
