Well what a morning. Cody had a huge seizure this morning. Only for a minute or so but he was choking, foaming etc and had clearly been very uncomfortable. I was alerted to the sound of him being sick but judging by where things have moved in our lounge he had been thrashing around before hitting the ground.

He was absolutely fine last night no signs of anything. Never had one before & no change in routine.

This morning he had had a poo accident by the back door (much earlier as was cold) and the sickness and seizure.

I called the vet and they just said to monitor him and to call our vets when they open and they will have the notes.

I just wanted to say a huge thankyou to this forum. Particularly MF whose posts from over the years have offered me some comfort this morning whilst I've been frantically trying to find a reason and answer whilst in complete physical shock.

Cody is currently asleep and exhausted.

So sorry about your Cody. Our last Lab Toby had massive seizures as well, and I know how very scary of a sight that is. Especially the first time around :( I really thought I was losing him right than and there. With Toby it turned out that the seizures were caused by Lymes disease, and treatable. Good Luck at the vet today!
