... I want to talk about poo! ;)

What type of food can you feed to a puppy (11 weeks old) to help lead to firmer poos? He doesn't have the runs or anything but his poos are quite often at the loose end of the spectrum which makes for some messy poo bag collection and use of the watering can / hose afterwards on the lawn to try to disipate the remainder. Yuk!

    A common topic.
You missed the usual lunchtime spot though.

Not sure I know the answer to this, but we tried a few foods in the early days and were mostly getting loose poops.
Not sure if it may just be a puppy thing? Think we need someone with a bit more experience to comment.
Which food are you using at the moment?

For us it was trying different foods until 1. She liked the food and 2. Her poo was more firm.
We settled on royal canin and this has done the job. No soggy poos and hose needed any more ;) [quote author=UncleBob link=topic=3258.msg35021#msg35021 date=1384209921]
