hello everyone! I am going out of town this weekend and the friend I am staying with has a cat. My now 16 week old puppy has not showed too much interest in cats when we have crossed paths with them but I know that can easily change once he is in the same house with one. Any tips on how to introduce my puppy to a cat?
I would keep your puppy on a 2.5m puppy house-line and keep hold of the end of it until you see how the pup is going to be around the cat. You may need to always have the pup tethered to you with it, if he shows signs of interest... As you're only away a couple of days it's probably not worth going all-out to introduce them as if you want them to get along forever if things are difficult, and just rely on management and the house-line...
