Lincoln is half Lab. He is nearly 7 months old but only weighs 35 pounds.
I was hoping he'd be at least 60 pounds but not sure he's going to get there.
    Any opinions on it??

What is he mixed with? There isn’t much you can really do about it, I wouldn’t think. If he’s eating normal and doesn’t look over weight or too skinny, I would just think it’s something that is what it is.

My first dog was half lab, half chow and he weight about 40 pounds. Which seems a little small for that mix. As long as he’s healthy and happy, that’s what’s most important.

Well if the DNA test is accurate he is predominantly Lab mixed with Beagle,Whippet,Border Collie,Foxhound,Feist
I guess we'll just wait and see.
He's a beautiful ,healthy, happy dog so I'm thankful for that.

At 7 months, he's still only young & will have plenty more growth and filling out yet, but may not reach as much as 60lb given his mix. Our Meg is 2 and a half & weighs around 46lb - she is Lab/Dalmatian/Colllie - a very slight build. She's currently a bit skinny & we are trying to put a little weight on her, but struggling.

Healthy & happy sounds just perfect.

Thank you so much. Yes we're happy with him and love him regardless of size. Like you said he does have some growing room left so I think he could get close to 50 pounds.

Vet says our 9 month old is probably as big as she'll get now but may fill out a bit, 25kg.

She's very lean but healthy and happy!.
