Hello everyone, this is my first post, i jave an 8yr old black lab, and she is called darcey . We have had her since she was 8 weeks old, and she has always behaved fantasticlly, in every way. Over the last few months when in the house she is terrified all the time, shaking, looking really sad and spending time alone, or upstairs in her bed. She is eating normally and still loves 2 go to the park twice a day. We do have noisy neighbours but she should be used to that. We are at our wits end with this behaviour can anyone help?

    Hi @Amanda1964

Welcome to the forum. I wish it were under better circumstances.

With any sudden change in behaviour the first port of call is a check up at your local vet.

You mention the neighbours. Did they just move in? Why do you believe she should be used to the noise?

Are there any other triggers suspected for the behavioural change?

You might find a adaptil collar might calm your dog. It doesn't work on all dogs. But it may be worth trying.
