Have recently heard from the vets that Bear died of Salmonella poisoning, and given the strain he had to have contracted it before we brought him home. The breeder apparently gave him scrambled eggs as a treat, so it appears that is where he has caught it. Due to only having Bear for a few days before he became ill, insurance refused to pay the vets bills. And the breeder refuses to take responsibility and return the fee paid for him.
What a dreadful thing to happen to you and the insurance not paying is wrong the breeder is only out to make money not caring about the puppies. So sorry you had to go through what should have been a wonderful time it's heartbreaking.
