Hi, I am wondering if I am overdoing the socialisation for Enzo. He turned 9 weeks today. I have been taking him out almost everyday this week. Is that too much. I have taken him to a pet shop and a shopping centre in a box on a walking frame burrowed from my mum. Is he maybe not close enough to me and feeling insecure?
He has been getting the zoomies when we get home after some of the outings. He has also growl a could times at people when they want to pet him. Is that normal behaviour? I don’t think that he is being aggressive as he is not showing his teeth when he growls. Count be he was just tired?
What is the best way to calm him down when he has the zoomies?

Your heart is in the right direction. It is possible to overdo it. Just a few things each day will be just fine. Puppies get tired very quickly.

Please ask people to back off and not to try to touch her. The puppy approaches them when she feels confident about approaching them.

Your job is to make sure she is happy and confident, in addition to seeing the world. If she shows fear, then back off. Make a note of the situation and see whether she is happy to view the problem as long as she keeps her distance at another time.

There is not a great deal you can do about the zoomies. Just let her run around in the garden

Thanks, I will back off the stranger petting and touching him on our outings.
