    Hey all,
Our 2 year old eats so fast that almost immediately when he finishes he then vomits.
We purchased a bowl that is supposed to slow down their eating.
Does anybody have any other ideas?
    Thanks

    Hi @Pamela Adams

I am assuming the vet has ruled out any physiological reasons.

If your dog eats kibble, you could spread it all over the room.

    Use a snuffle mat.

Alternatively and ideally use the food he would have been given for free as treats used in training sessions. Six training sessions over the day will slow him down.

    Hi @Pamela Adams

Where having the same fast eating vomiting issue with our 5 month old Lab, I found
    Portion Pacers work best.
Ive used the pacers for our German Shepard years ago after suffering bloat at the age of 4. Thank goodness we were able to save her, Living for 12 amazing years.

We witnessed Our pup eating way to fast for her own good and decided to use the Pacers for her it def slowed down her eating, we haven't had anymore issues with her vomiting.

We used a muffin pan for a while and then a 14 inch tray with 3 inch sides that we found at the farm supply store. We add water to the kibble.

The slow feeder seemed to frustrate him.

And if you feed kibble as their treats or for training throughout the day, don't leave it in your coat pocket and hang the coat on the hooks they can reach. Lost pockets in two separate coats. At least you can't tell on the outside!

So true. I have a rain jacket that now doesn't have any pockets.

    Does raising the bowl help?
