Needing some advise for potty training my puppy. He is 8 weeks old. And I am trying to get him outside whenever he wakes up to go to the bathroom. He is going to the bathroom outside like he should and I am giving him praise and a treat. But then not 20 minutes from being in the house he relieves himself again. Not sure what do. Has anyone had this problem?

Yes . This is very common and completely normal. He is a very young baby with a very tiny bladder. If he is peeing that soon after coming in try taking him out again in 15 minutes. Take him out on a leash to the same area every time. Just keep walking around till he goes potty. Sometimes they get distracted the first time and don't get it all done..
    Good luck..

Our puppy is now 13 weeks old. At 8 weeks she was peeing every 20 mins. I have kept a time journal of her activities since we brought her home and the peeing while awake was 20 mins. If she had an accident in the house I could look at the time and see that it was my fault....25 mins and yep, pee on the floor! from 12 weeks to now 13 weeks I felt her lengthen her time a bit so have gone to every 30 mins. We have had 4 labs in out lives and although it takes a LOT of diligence in the early months, they do get it and do seem to know where they are supposed to go potty, it's just all about timing when they are such babies :) Hang in there, it sounds like all is normal!
