I have a 10 week old puppy who was going outside by himself to pee and poop right outside our door with only a few indoor mishaps. He would do this despite snow and cold weather. Now he hangs outside and even lays in the snow, but will not relieve himself. The one change we have made is putting him on a long lead as he started to wander off, though this lead gives him plenty of room to wander in the same area he used to relieve himself. He then comes in the house and pees and sometimes poops within 5-10 minutes. At the same time, he will go in the garage, fairly quickly though he will want to come in the house and then pee or poop in the house shortly afterwards. Any thoughts?
