Hi everyone, I thought I had found a litter of labs but I’m not sure about the hip and shoulder scores. I will post the whole conversation with the breeder because, frankly, the numbers make no sense to me despite researching online. The numbers I have been given don’t seem to match what I have seen online. My question: would you buy a pup from this litter? “No we haven't done any Genetic testing. Mum and dad eye test both clear elbows are 0 and shoulders and hips are 22 out of 112 and 24 out of 112. Both are fit and well and up to date with vet checks worming and flea treatments. Pups will be wormed and fleaed they've had their first injections and chips done all are fit and well according to the vet during his first examination. Each puppy has a health log with confirmation of the visit to the vets.” I replied saying aren’t these scores a little high? He replied: “Ok they are scored 56 on each side. With shoulders included to give one score on the report sheet. “ So I am still non the wiser. I’d really appreciate some help and advice. Thanks in advance Alison
