My Labrador who is almost 3 had an operation 4 days ago to remove 2 pieces of plastic from her intenstine. She also has HGE (symptoms for a week now) . The vet hospital has not seen much improvement in stomach motility with jaundice kicking in. She receives food via a feeding tube but it pools in her stomach and then regurges. She has now been moved to another hospital to look at other options for treatment. Has anyone else experienced a delay in curing HGE and anything that worked? She’s been vomiting for a week now and not eaten proper food through her mouth since Monday.
I can't help with any advice but do hope that your dog shows some improvement soon, you must be worried sick.
