hi all, I was wondering if anyone can advise I have a 9 month old golden lab puppy, in good health, healthy appetite etc. However occasionally when he drinks water, especially in larger amount he gets sick soon after. It doesn’t happen all the time hence why I’m not overly concerned. Has anyone had this before? It’s only started in the last month. He’s due a vet visit next month so I’ll mention it then, but just making sure it’s nothing of immediate concern. Thanks in advance.
My lab has done the same. For him it has occurred, and not frequently, after strenuous outdoor activity like running around with neighborhood kids too soon after eating. He'll come in and drink 2-3 times what he normally would and then step aside and throwup. Lovely. Frankly, I wouldn't worry about it. Try to gauge the sequence of events prior and determine if there's a pattern.
