Im so frustrated and am crying right now because all of my animals eat but Thelma. She acts like shes afraid to eat unless shes gone a day and ahalf. Shes been to the vet and nothing is wrong. Ive tried the packaged moust and meaty to dry kibble to canned food mixed. It started when she started her heat cycle then went through a false preg, i have another choc lab her full sister and she just got done with her heat never stopped eating. Thelma is so thin and im so upset i dont know what else to do
If you change their food it does upset them so any change should be gradual. Willow is fed on James Welbeloved and Butchers puppy perfect wet. Have you tried hand feeding the kibble. I agree get your dog off Tesco home brand but only gradually.
We got a Springer puppy at 12 weeks old put her food down tinned the breeder said she was on. She didn't eat any of it so we got puppy milk and gave her weetabix she ate the lot. After a few more dog foods she still refused to eat she had our food and a dried food was left down for her. She would eat the dried food when all of our food was cleared away. She lived on leftovers and dried food as she was not loosing weight we didn't worry too much. What can you do when they won't eat.
