Hi, My River will be turning 1 year old on 4/5. I want to get her something special to eat. I have been looking at a barkday cake from a good pet bakery. They offer sugar free peanut butter ones, which review well.
Also, I wanted to buy her a nice raw steak for dinner. She gets Instinct (frozen raw) for breakfast and a little Merrick for dinner, so I was thinking a small portion would be ok.
    Anyone have suggestions or advise?

Why don't you take her on an awesome walk....think dogs prefer adventures to stuff :)

Those treats sound super....perhaps yummy treats AND a super walk since it is a special day.

I know my boy would love those treats- or anything fishy.

And a great walk or a trip somewhere new always goes down well.

Remember it is the dog who decides what is a high value birthday gift. They mirror our behaviour although we humans are taught to at least look appreciative.
