    Hello all,

My 7 month old will bite at my hands sometimes when I go to pet him (not in a playful manner).

It happens often. For example, if we are outside and he doesn’t want to come in- he will lay down. If you try to grab his harness to make him get up, he will bite.

This is just one example. Could it be that he is scared? How can I fix this?

Dogs generally don't like being grabbed. Either go back to a "house line" or, better still, remove the harness and collar around the house and us your body and treats to move him.

Our dog Luna doesn't like to be pet on head or rubbed very much on back so we praise ,rub the front of her chest, and with the back of your hand run it along the side of her body, she is not a cuddly girl at all but does like to lay on your feet ect, they are all so different! When he lays down just turn away and ignore it walk away, or lure with great or a toy ect
