im not sure wether to be concerned or not! How much do your 11 month old puppies drink? Is it a lot? Nelson seems to drink a considerable amount! I mean about 6/7 bowls a day? Is this normal!?

Would love to hear some feedback or if I’m just overreacting! Thank you.

You will need to tell us how much water is contained in a bowl, that is, how much water in terms of litres/pints is your dog drinking per day?

My 2 adults vary greatly day to day depending on activity, weather, what they've eaten. If you feel your dog is drinking excessively it is worth having a chat with your vet.

That does sound like a lot of water, but like Michael says, it will depend on many factors - one being how big the bowl is! It will also vary depending on whether you feed a dry diet, like kibble, or a wet or raw diet that contains more moisture. And it will depend on how hot it is and how much moisture is being lost by panting...

But drinking too much water can be a sign of serious health problems, although in an 11 month pup, we'd hope you weren't seeing those - but if you do feel it is too much water, it would be worth having a word with the vet even on the phone to discuss things.
