My rescue chocolate for the last couple month has been in and out of the vet office. Started with her neck swelling with an abscess which was cut open and drained and our first round of antibiotics (before that a round of drugs for what was thought blastomycosis) no real diagnosis. Swelling went down and dog returned to normal activities, for a week, we have lost over 20 lbs in two months, currently no real bowel movements, conjunctivitis in left eye, multiple pills for intestinal problems and on second different eye drop.lymph nodes appear to be swelling in several places. Biopsy was taken today from the lymph nodes. Biopsy’s have been sent before with no results. Has anyone had similar issues with their dog. I am desperate for answers.

How old is she and how long have you had her?
How much does she weigh and what are you feeding her?

I have a neighbour with a chocolate lab with more illnesses than I can list, mainly due to bad breeding (ED and HD), and poor food (skin and intestinal sensitivities).

Hi Parrish, Welcome to the forum.

I'm so sorry to hear your Lab has been unwell for so long. I'm afraid I don't have any personal experience of these issues, but I wish you all the best and hope that your vet is able to find an answer for you soon.

Do let us know how she gets along!

4/5 yrs old/Walmart pure balance, old Roy moist packages/pure balance canned for mixin with dry.I have attempted others, since we got her had suffered skin and hair allergy issuess and were also getting monthly shots for that. She was as heavy as 83 lbs and is down to 60.I have had her going on two yrs.
Humane society had put her thru heart worm treatment(successful)before I could could get her spayed we had to treat her for skin issues, a type of mange and vet wanted it clear before he operated.
