Is this normal : sparse coat

    Maggie 6 months her hair is everywhere. But seems extreme. I took pics for you to see if her coat Is normal? Seems so sparse but maybe getting ready for summer coat?
    She does seem to have always itched but just a few strokes not excessive. My last lab was a very pale yellow so maybe why I’m seeing Maggie’s skin more being black.
    We live in Tennessee

    Apparently normal. Ive heard a lot talking about it at the pet store. Molting I thought was the term they used, could be wrong. Or maybe just the losing of said baby fur. Just seemed like I could make a fur coat from the amount and seeing so much skin.

    Both my boys look just like that. 3 and 6 years;)

    Thanks for the reply @Edp & @Christoph W My first black lab was so long ago, she had so much hair but I guess its not like I ever took or kept underside pics,lol

    Looks very normal to me. Hair is often thinner inside the thighs and on the belly.
