Hi, just a quick question really, the pic below is it something to be concerned over or is it just getting ready to switch afew teeth over ?

Our pup Solar is 4 months old and as I understand it they change various teeth in various places in the mouth from 4 months to 7 ish months and was wondering if this was the kind of start of things ?.

    Many thanks

It's a bit hard to tell as it's so close-up - can you lift up more of his lip and take a pic of the whole of the mouth and gum more?

Sometimes puppy teeth don't come out when they are supposed to and they can displace the adult teeth coming through underneath.

Games of tug on rope toys tend to help puppy teeth come out :)

    Hi Jo,

Many thanks for the reply !, I will take some more pictures later today when she is slightly more docile :). Yeah we play TOW 3x a day for 10 mins each time roughly so hope that is enough to get the little buggers moving?.

She doesn't seem to be bothered by it all with eating/drinking or with TOW just for reference :).

    Cheers again

    Hi Jo,

I'm abit pissed off tbh and pleased at the same time :). I couldn't handle it and went to the vets with the tooth and got nowhere :(, the vet "didn't think" it was anything to worry about nor knew anything about the other "thing" I found while routing around in her mouth taking pics. That said she did say she will consult dog dentist specialist tomorrow and call me over what they have discussed.

I think she was a trainee as it wasn't either of the normal vets we see there so fingers crossed I'll find out more tomorrow.

For now though would you be so kind and cast your eyes over this picture and tell me what you think ?.
