Our dog is crate trained for sleeping at night, and we recently went camping and put her in her own pop- up tent. She did well, but the cheap pop up beach tent broke upon dismantling. I have seen a few pet tents on Amazon (including a Mendip dog tent) . Does anyone else use an outdoor dog tent? It needs to be waterproof. I realise she could sleep in our tent, but we have made the decision for her own tent, she is very near to us and can hear us, but we don’t get the smelly beach, muddy dog smells!

Forget the pup tent IMO and let her sleep in the vestibule area between the tent and the fly -- if that's your setup. Put down a closed cell foam pad to sleep on and she'll be fine.

Naah, I wouldn't. I'd buy a new tent and the dog gets inside.
