Our big rescue boy who had spent six years in a kennel came to us five years ago. Theyvsaid he was 12 and I thought at least he won’t die in a cage. He blossomed and gave so much love he never left my side until now. He beat all the odds in spite of being crippled with arthritis and some health scares. I don’t think he can have been 12 and this was a bonus as we had him longer than we first thought in the beginning but it was never going to be long enough. I am heartbroken, I have his collar, his paw print and some fur from his head but his going has left a huge hole only he can fill. Thank you for letting me share this

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sure your dog couldn't believe his luck for every day he got to spend with you, and I think it's wonderful that you gave him the chance to become pet who will be remembered and loved and missed. It's heartbreaking that they can't stay with us longer x
Oh my heart goes to you for your loss. I know that terrible pain for over 8 months now . Until I got my new puppy this week. I am so sorry you have to go thru this . It’s the worst feeling .
I’m so sorry for your loss, I still grieve my beautiful Piper it’s been 5 months, we got a new puppy and though she has made it better, I still miss my friend she was always by my side and I think I will forever miss her. I can tell you it will get better at least now I can talk about her without crying every time.
Dear Julia, i am so sorry you have lost yout friend. Animals sre wonder full things and i know you friend would want you to get out there and give another poor guy a great home. You see dogd are so big hearted and would love to know you savef anothrr. You will never forget your friend but can make a new one.
