My 16 week old as of yesterday puppy has been acting really weird and different today. She’s never really been afraid of anything and today it seems like she is scared of everything. My husband will admit he was pretty active today doing house and yard work. This morning he has the roomba running. Which she has been around before but only a couple of times. She didn’t seem to upset out that but a little mire than before. He said later she was out with him and he was trimming the bushes with the trimmer. Something she has been around but was a little more skiddish around. He said she wouldn’t leave his side today. She’s been sleeping a lot, panting and breathing heavy until she falls asleep

He was on puppy day shift today. So I’m on the night shift now and I was outside with her and decided to bring a chair out. She was Leary of it but didn’t really get scared till I folded it up and walked in the porch with it. She wouldn’t even look at it. I tried to show her it’s just a chair nothing to be scared of. And again he was panting a lot and is falling asleep a lot earlier then usual. She usually really active in the early evening. And she was doing the panting and heavey breathing till falling asleep. We are first time adult dog owners. Should I be concerned with her behavior or was it a lot of stuff going on today?

It has been really hot today so we’ve been limiting her outside time and making sure not to run Her outside too much.

Sorry for another reply. I’m probably over thinking it. I am just used to a very active puppy from the time I get home till later in the evening

    Hi @Megan H
When the dog previously was around the power tools and such, are you absolutely sure your puppy had a good time?
