so my 2 year old black lab was out and she got tied with my 4 year old chocolate lab. she hasn't gone into heat yet and I was just wondering if there was a chance she could be pregnant??

I'm looking to breed eventually but I thought that you had to wait two weeks after her spotting.

    any advice appreciated

If she tied with another dog, she must have been in heat. It is possible to have silent heats, when there is no noticeable bleeding. If she were not in heat, she would not stand and allow another dog to do that to her. It would be extremely painful to insert anything in there, even a small swab, when not in heat and she would no way permit a dog to mate with her.

So yes, it is very likely she could be pregnant. I hope they are both fully health-tested and it's a suitable match and that you have homes lined up. If not, ask your vet for the Alizin mis-mate injections.
