I shouldn’t say not eating, but she’s not eating much. She’s had less than 1 cup of her kibble within the last day. Not my first lab... she hasn’t gotten any treats from me and breeder said she didn’t use them at all either. I am using the same food as she did before pick up. I leave her food down for about 10-15 minutes and then pick it up. Been doing 3 meals. My last lab was a picky eater and I let him free feed and I prefer not to go down that road again.

Her stool has been a tad loose but has been going. She’s been a alittle fussy but I figured that was normal with the new home and all. Other than that she been fine... lots of playing and sleeping. I don’t really want to add anything to her food to entice her either. Went down that road previously as well and I think it only made things worse.

I guess the question is does this sound normal? Young pup in a new home not eating well at first?

Also should add she a definable good size pup. Was 15lbs at 7 weeks, shots up to date, and dewormed.

I think she is probably just used to having plenty of food always available at the breeders and/or she is still settling into her new home and a bit distracted by the novelty of everything. Give her time to settle in, and keep removing the food after you've offered it...
