Hi we are constantly working on getting Kyko to focus on us as opposed to the environment when out walking, and have managed to get to the point where we can let him off lead in very low distraction areas, however we missed a couple of open gates at the farmers field & off he went for an explore. We kept seeing posts for a 'free dvd' from absolute dogs on facebook & decided to give it a go cos what do we have to lose? I say 'free' as it is $8.95 postage (around the £7 mark in the UK). Anyway we watched it on Saturday & off we went for a walk & played some of the games they suggest. I can honestly say I have never seen Kyko so focussed on me while off lead & his eyes were lit up & tail wagging like mad the whole time. Just curious if anyone else had given it a go & what they thought of it? Sorry just noticed the typo in the title should be leash off, game on
Definitely not free but I don't begrudge them a few quid. I love the games and their overall ethos, I've even got used to their manic presenting style. The Naughty but Nice DVD was particularly helpful for us.
Yeah have to admit I didn't mind paying just to see. Have signed up for a free web class with them tonight too. I do think the other dvd's seem pretty expensive though, but was impressed with the progress even after the 1st time, only used 3 of the games with him so far but he certainly more focussed, he even walked past an open field without running in for a look around
