My 19 month old yellow lab Max has developed discoloured top canine teeth. Both top canines have a pinky / purple colour to them at the tips. Reading online seems to suggest pulpitis and our local vet advises to either watch and wait to see what happens or refer for further consultation. However, his insurance with Animal Friends does not cover dental treatment. He is totally fine in himself and doesn't seem in any pain. Does anyone have any experience with this type of problem please?
