Hi there! I've just joined up! I've searched around on here to try and find an answer to a question! I have a 3 year old Choccy lab. He absolutely loves the water, swimming is definitely high on his priority list! Another thing he really loves doing is going to the toilet in the body of water we go to, whether it be the sea, a river or a pond. Is this an innate behaviour, as a friend of mine's Choccy lab does exactly the same thing! He is not my 1st Choccy, but is the 1st to do this! I would love to know your thoughts on this matter! Welcome to the site. They do do some strange things these dogs. Sorry I don’t have an answer for you.Makes it difficult to pick up though! Before Toby was castrated he would often cock his leg to wee,realise he needed to poo and do it a foot up a tree or lamppost. Very bizarre but as I say that has now stopped.
Hi and welcome from myself and my choccy lab Isla. I've never heard of this before, I've had a few dogs and two were labs but none of them did this, lol. Sounds very odd, they are a funny lot!
