He is called George, to be honest he is a really good boy, he learns things very quickly and will do virtually anything for a carrot! His only issue (?) is he is nervous of loud noises such as gun shots, a door slamming, fireworks etc...... and he doesn't like to be away from his people
Im sure she will settle down, she just a baby still.....

George is so beautiful. Do you work him, or is he a pet (or both?) Luna is actually improving in her behaviour a lot. Especially in the last month she seems to have mellowed a lot. They are so smart aren't they, these Copperwheat dogs. Beautiful and smart. In the right hands of a more experienced trainer, Luna could do absolutely anything (probably with the exception of a therapy dog in a retirement home - it would be carnage!). We'll definitely get there, and it's been so nice to hear from a fellow Copperwheat owner.

I have an 18 month old Copperwheat lab (Logan). He’s a great dog and very bright but compared to the other labs around here is very highly strung. He gets a lot of exercise and I’ve started agility training with him. The problem we have is taking him out in crowds as he gets too over excited and barks. A lot. Other than that he’s a fantastic family dog (and great jogging companion).

Hi Nicola and Logan (great name by the way). Ah, so is he one of Allie's litter? We just missed out on a girl from that litter and waited a few months until their next. Glad to hear he's getting on well - Luna gets quite overwhelmed by things, especially crowds and noise, but she'll go quite quiet when there's lots going on around her whereas Logan sounds like he takes the opposite approach :) He looks very like our Luna :) Thanks for getting in touch.

Ah, that's great to hear that you'd definitely get another from Ken. Him and his wife were lovely and clearly loved their dogs. Great to hear from you.

Hi. I thought that you would like to know that we have Ralph. He retired quite early at 5 1/2 years old after a mild fit on a shoot. He is the most wonderful dog. Our third Labrador now. We discovered that Ralph had very mild epilepsy which was easily treated and not returned since (7 years) he has been off any medication now for 2 years. He is a 12 1/2 year old now and never suffered from anxiety. Like me Ralph is slowing down, but still in good shape at 27kg.
The Glenbriar line seems to be quite different. Very calm and intelligent with lots of eye contact. Ralph has made the most wonderful pet with many fans and admirers in the village. I gather that he sired 60+ litters. Nick

If you register on MY KC you can see all sorts of interesting information about your dog. Greenbriar Ralph sired 6 litters with a total of 43 pups. The last litter was in October 2012.
