I haven’t posted for ages but keep an eye on the site. Poor Inky has HGE, been at the vets since Friday evening on IV fluids and antibiotics and still having diarrhoea. Completely declining food and water. I just wanted to say that reading other people’s post has given me some hope that he will get over it.
Usually there is a cause behind this and once that has been identified, you'll be on the way. Our Weimaraner had it at the start of one of her giardia episodes and it took metronidazole to nuke it.... I know blood coming out down there seems terrifying, but really in dogs it is not as terrifying as it is in people, so try not to worry!
