When you first visit the forums, you'll see the list of categories, like this:

    Screen Shot 2016-03-27 at 23.26.19.png

You need to click on one of the blue headers to get to the section you want, and then, at the top of the screen, on the right of the blue "breadcrumb" (where it shows Home > Forums in the image above), there's a button like this:

    Screen Shot 2016-03-27 at 23.27.19.png

Click on it, and you'll be able to create a new topic in that section.

    I hope that helps :)

Hello there, waiting to collect my baby up on Tuesday. Daisy is an 8 week old fox red . My first lab and can’t wait. Looked through the forum and tips and a little overwhelmed, don’t want to do anything wrong.

    Hi Everyone,
I've just joined the site which looks great. We have a 4 month Fox red high energy Lab called Amber, however I call her The Wrecking Ball, only when she's not listening.:) We also have a 3 year old bitch Dalmatian called Ruby and as you can imagine is also a high energy lady. The 2 get on very well together.
    Thanks for letting me join.

P.S. How do I upload a picture? It asks for a media URL?
    Keith.

    Hi Keith,

Welcome to the forum! Amber and Ruby sound like a lot of fun :) (A lot of exhausting fun!)

Instead of the bar at the top of the box, look to the bottom right - there are three buttons and one says "Upload a File". This will let you upload photos from your phone or computer :)

We're looking forward to seeing your girls!

    Hello!
My name is Meg. We have an almost 6 month old black lab, Emmy! She is our first dog (as a family, but I grew up with a lab). She is absolutely adorable, but has more energy that I ever imagined! I’m glad I found this site and can’t wait to read all the great information!

Hello my fellow Lab lovers! We just picked up Sofy, an 8-week old chocolate lab. I’m sure glad I stumbled upon this forum as we were having a bit of a crying issue this being her first night and all but this website helped me isolate the problem and now we are very quiet! I look forward to reading more information from the site and it’s members! Thanks so much :)

I have a new 8 month old black lab. I got her at 4 months. She has had Pano( shortened) first in the front left leg(lasted 2 weeks), a month off now in her front right for 5 days. Is this normal? It makes me nervous but she is not in pain.

Thanks for the add. I's Sassy from NC Needing help for 3year old Chocolate Lab who has become aggressive while off leash with other dogs. He will also bite at his 8year old sister when getting in our out of vehicle. I have been very calm with his aggression. He is not neutored yeat as he broke his hip and had to stay in tact till 3.5 years of age. Any advice.

    Hello,
Help! I just got a new car and my 7 month old Lucy refuses to get in. She always gets excited when I say lets got to park or daycare. And runs to car, then the brakes go on. She pulled out of her collar and really scratched me up. I have tried treats, her favorite toys, even a chew bone. Waited a day or 2 and tried again today. Got her all excited and we got to car- bam no way. What can I do????

    Hi,
I’ve joined to gain some knowledge and training tips for my 10 month fox red lab chester. He’s got the basics down, just recall and off lead needs brushing up, and would like to challenge him a bit to work of some mental energy.
If any one has any times or can point me in the right direction please do so.

Not sure if this is the right place to introduce myself. Owner of a 6 mo black lab ‘Daphne’ who is nervy and anxious. Never had this experience before. This is the 5th lab I have had.
Any suggestions. Ihave applied all the standard stuff but nothing seems to be helping. Hysterical barking when we go out and although we do short trips in the car everyday she is upset at least some of the drive.

Hello, this is my first post so forgive me if I get it wrong. I have a question. I have two adult chocolate Labs, Polly, who's 7 and a lovely even-tempered girl, and Fern who's 5 in December, who my friends call the 'Alpha Female'. Fern has had 5 puppies (now 6 weeks-old), and I plan to keep the first born, a girl. Are there any potential problems i should look out for? Thanks.
